Anyone could just drive up there and steal large quantities of milk or even worse, put poison in the milk. Another way is through putting surveillance videos all throughout designated areas. This department would take control of the security so as to help avoid the loss of the company be it in revenues or in facilities.

By using the loss prevention procedure, it would be of great help to companies in choosing the reliable security contractor to give safety to establishments. Security experts are already aware of the specific needs of such company or will actually survey the establishment and establish what type of security to put up.

So if you think that your company needs one, then you should go for the loss prevention procedure. Even if you see that your employees can be trusted and are honest with their work, you still need to take precautions. There is always a first time for everything. However, you as the owner or proprietor should also do your part. First thing’s first, you should review recordings of your surveillance and cite inappropriate events. Second is to do unannounced visits to departments, third is reserve your trust, don’t be too trustful, and last is for you to model trustworthiness towards your employees.
Loss prevention procedure is not alone in this role of keeping your establishment as standard but you yourself also are responsible.

So as to conclude, loss prevention personnel who are tasked with loss prevention investigator jobs should be added in establishments to monitor and prevent damages in the company’s revenues and properties. This department should include a loss prevention manager or loss prevention personnel positions. In this way, the security monitor department would have a lesser scope of job description and would only focus on surveillance and putting out security alarms.
