\rLOSS PREVENTION\r\r\r2ND SHIFT $12.00 PER HOUR\r\rResponsible for manning all post positions, vehicle patrol, monitoring the facility for safety and fire hazards, and reporting to supervisors. This individual must use extreme confidentiality in respecting employees privacy within the company guidelines and procedures. Information pertaining to the company is not to be given to outside persons without the consent of the Facility Loss Prevention Manager. This individual will provide communication of all goals, objectives and accomplishments to peers and superiors: express questions or concerns on job related labor issues or commitments by supervisor s to the Facility Loss Prevention manager; and enhance morale through participating in a strong team effort using positive reinforcement, and supporting plans and goals of the department, with the best interests of the company and employees in mind.\r\rESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: % OF TIME\rList the core duties or tasks that are fundamental to the performance of the job. Define purpose, function and the result to be accomplished. Also, focus on frequency, time spent, etc. List in order of importance. List the % of time for each Essential Job Function. Total must equal 100%. Maintain a log and daily reports, and report violations to his/her lead, supervisor, or manager. % Responsible for reporting any safety or fire hazards discovered to his/her immediate supervisor and attempt to correct condition, if possible. % In emergency situations, it is the Agent s responsibility to maintain order and call appropriate emergency equipment to the scene, and to notify persons on the emergency call list as his/her supervisor. % Report any unauthorized vehicles or persons found within the facility directly to his/her supervisor. % Accompany and person allowed access to the facility (other than an employee) to and from the requested area. % Written reports are to be submitted by the Agent of any unusual incidents witnessed or reported to the Agent by an employee, regardless of the nature, using the incident report form (communication of the same to Loss Prevention Manager is imperative). % The Agents must know the contents of the security procedures manual and abide by the printed regulations therein. % The Agent must be conversant with the general and post orders found in the security procedures manual. % Handles equipment assigned to him/her. % Detect and apprehend associates using Corporate Loss Prevention Guidelines, associates observed committing a theft. % Responsible for protecting the chain of evidence and care of evidence. % Pursue arrests through the court system to case conclusion and reporting these arrests to the Loss Prevention Manager. % Responsible for reporting all Loss Prevention activity and observations (i.E., arrests, safety issues, etc.) to the Loss Prevention Manager using appropriate Corporate Documentation (incident reports, arrest depositions). % Maintain a neat and orderly personal appearance. % Responsible for protecting the company s assets and profits. % Assist in conducting preliminary internal and external investigations as directed by the Loss Prevention Manager. % Assists in conducting internal/external investigations and interrogations of in-the-act apprehensions as directed by the Loss Prevention Manager. % Assists in conducting Loss Prevention Audits as assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager. % Responsible for conducting surveillance assignments as assigned. % Responsible for all other duties assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager. % Assist in conducting Loss Prevention awareness meetings with associates as assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager. %QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:List Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge, and/or Certifications required for the position.Handling operation of closed circuit television system.Hand held radios and base radio equipment.Driving emergency vehicle (Cushman).Conducting facility tours.Due to the possibility of medical, fire, or disaster emergencies, good physical health is a prerequisite.High School Diploma or equivalent.Current First Aid/CPR Card.
