Director of Admissions - Healthcare - Administrative
We are seeking a highly qualified and self-motivated Director of Admissions to join our growing healthcare team. The Director of Admissions is a vital role for our administrative department, as they are responsible for networking, advertising and developing targets for future referral sources for census development.
The Director of Admission design and implement an admission process which meets the federal, state and company guidelines, including completion of all required documentation.
Responsible for networking, advertising and developing targets for future referral sources; administer and process all daily information for the census, and facilitate the pre-admission review process.
The Director of Admission is a performer of public relations and sales promotion who also react to public and media in a professional and concerned manner, conduct tours of the facility to prospective resident and their families, and manage the department budget.
The successful candidate has a sincere interest and desire to work with long term care and must be able to work extended work hours when demand requires.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years of experience in sales/marketing, health care or related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including public speaking
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Professional manner and appearance
