Description Responsible for shortage reduction in designated area of responsibility of multi-store locations in multiple districts Ensures that shrink reduction is achieved through audits, action plans, training, store visits, and investigations. Ensures all stores are actively engaging their Shrinkage Action Plans and improving compliance in all areas. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and resolve all aspects of internal theft investigations. Coordinate and conduct interviews, and document actions taken. Communicate findings to Regional AP Manager and District\/Store management teams. Build a cohesive and supportive relationship with stores\u2019 District Manager partners. Research exception reports to identify internal theft activity and take appropriate investigative action to resolve. Analyze current detection and control measures in place. Identify loss control opportunities and recommend actions that reduce company exposure to losses via thefts, fraud, embezzlement, etc. Conduct general\/specialized audits and training sessions as related to the audit function or as outlined by the corporate office. Educate and train store management on proper procedures identified as deficient through the audit process. Actively pursue external theft offenders. Communicate all external theft activity to AP Regional Manager, District and Store Managers. Formulate and implement with Regional partnership a plan of action to reduce external theft and fraud activity. Prepare weekly\/monthly reports (e.g., updates, recaps, plan of actions, etc.). Provide measurement and analysis of pilot programs and special projects assigned by supervisor. Coordinate external blitz operations and apprehend shoplifters as needed. Provide AP training and orientation for new personnel as possible. Conduct in-depth analysis of freight and transfer reporting, inventory reconciliation, and store level P&L data. \u00a0 Minimum Requirements College degree preferred. \u2022 Minimum of 5-7 years asset protection \/ loss prevention experience in a retail facility, including proficiency in both internal and external case investigations.\u00a0 \u2022 Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. \u2022 Ability to work independently. Self-directed and self-motivated.\u00a0 \u2022 Working knowledge of key physical security systems, such as alarms, and EAS tagging.\u00a0 \u2022 Proficient knowledge of computer programs (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\u00a0 \u2022 Highly analytical with the ability to interpret findings.
